Who is your Jesus?

by Stewart Topping

May Jesus be more real to you every day. May the understanding of who he is direct your life and the way you conduct your business.  May by your example, it will bring others to an understanding that God is real and a rewarder of those that seek Him.

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

May each day be a new beginnings; we can learn so much from God if we give him the chance.  There is a peace that pasts all understanding and in all things.  Let your new year begin with Jesus.

2 Timothy 2:7 (NKJV) 7 Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.

We must have Patience’s and allow God to answer pray in his way.    He will answer. So start out the new year with a positive mind set; believe for a fruitful year, a deeper relationship with God and that the power in prayer will become so real that it will be the first thing you do.

Talk to God; follow his spirit that is within you and you will bloom like the new flowers in the spring, follow these scriptures;

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (NKJV) 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you–unless you believed  in vain. 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He Rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,

What are the important things to learn from these verses.  Paul declared the Gospel, the good news. Paul also received the same Gospel before he preached to us.  The Gospel in 1 Cor. 15:1-4 is to simply believe.

  • Christ died for our sins.
  • He was buried.
  • He rose again.

If you believe that God is real and created the earth and everything on it and he can raise Jesus from the grave.  Then you must believe that he is and his message is that grace will cover your sins and it is free; yes free.

Ephesians 2:7-9 (NKJV) 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.  8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
